The taxman’s software – called ‘Connect’ – already has the capability to trawl through billions of items of personal financial information from dozens of sources in its quest to find unpaid tax. And soon the software will have access to even more facets of your personal financial information, including your lifestyle, property and even information gathered using social media – which can legally be shared with 60 other countries. There’s nowhere to hide.
